Commodore - Adding Aux-in Support

Heloo. As the title implies, though I love CDs dearly, proper aux-in support is very much missed in my car. Today we're going to be extracting the stock head unit, soldering some stuff onto it, and chucking it back in WITHOUT breaking anything 😯. I found this guide in the waybackmachine, linked below.

To start, make your own sketchy removal tools out of whatever you have. The bogan customary is apparently to use old hangers (see guide).

Then, stick your removal tools all the way in, pull slightly outwards towards the doors, and also pull towards you. With reasonable perseverance, the whole unit should come out unharmed. Turning it over (CD on the bottom), and removing the screws that hold down the bottom panel, you should have something like this.

Now solder the two vias and GND as per the guide.

And voila (or wallah as the bogans say)
